The Parish Council meets 7 times a year and takes decisions on all matters.

The Finance Committee meets quarterly with the Terms of Reference as below:

Act on behalf of the Parish Council to review and recommend to Council all aspects of Parish Council finances, including:

(i) to propose a draft budget;

(ii) to propose a precept based on the draft budget;

(iii) To perform a quarterly review of performance against budget

(iv) to consider finance policy including Financial Regulations and Reserves Policy.

(v) to consider requirements for future costs, liabilities and projects and ensure adequate reserves are funded.

Its membership is below:

Councillors Cameron, Johnston, McDermott and Ryder.

The Parish Council is a consultee on all planning applications affecting Comberbach; planning matters are decided by Cheshire West and Chester Council. Planning matters are delegated to the Clerk following consultation with the Planning Working Group whose members are Councillors Chandler, Darwin, Holt and Ryder; all planning comments are then reported to the following Parish Council meeting.
